"I wanted to use this property to create something truly exceptional because I knew that if we loved it, there must be others who would, too."
Count Antonio
in an interview with The Independent

estate » about » the bolza family THE BOLZA FAMILY Formerly a publisher of art books, Count Antonio Bolza bought Reschio in 1994 having fallen in love with what was then a largely abandoned estate. Under the stewardship of Count Antonio and his wife Angelika, Reschio has become a thriving working family estate with their renowned pureblood Andalusian stud at its heart.

Today, the running of the estate lies principally in the hands of Antonio's son, Benedikt, an architect named by Architectural Digest magazine as one of the top 100 most imaginative, intelligent and inspiring architects currently working in architecture and design. He lives on the estate with his five children and wife, Nencia, whose own beautiful murals and painted floors can be found in some of the villas.
